MotoGP Test Barcelona: Lorenzo, “Very interesting test, I did 150 laps”

MotoGP Test Barcelona Ducati – Very important tests for the Ducati team on the Montmelò circuit, after the Le Mans race which saw the two standard bearers of the Red team finish in 4th and 6th position. The drivers who participated in the test had the opportunity to try out the new circuit layout.

Jorge Lorenzo completed 150 laps during the two-day test, testing some set ups. Very important test, also because, after the Jerez tests, the riders were able to run with the tire with a stiffer casing that will be used starting from Mugello, and which did not satisfy the fifth champion. But after this test he seems to have digested it a little more.

These are the words of Jorge Lorenzo:“It was a very interesting test: in two days I did 150 laps, accumulating many kilometers and finding some positive solutions, and I was also the best Ducati rider on both days. Generally speaking we are competitive in all sectors, but we still lose a few tenths in the last section where we will therefore have to improve in view of the race. As for the front tyre, Michelin has done a good job bringing a pair of tires that solve the problem of graining on the right side, but we still have to find a solution for the rear.”
