Austin GP, Ducati Team – Sixth final position for Andrea Dovizioso in the United States Grand Prix, third round of the 2017 MotoGP world championship. The Italian has never been in the fight for the top positions in the standings, struggling quite a bit with front tire wear. The objective now will be to immediately turn the page in anticipation of returning to Europe.
Here are the words of Andrea Dovizioso: “It was a difficult weekend and even in the race we never had the pace we were hoping for. It's a shame, because I expected more from this GP, but this result confirms that unfortunately we still have a lot of work to do to resolve certain limitations of our bike and be able to stay ahead of our rivals on all the circuits.”
