An event that hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts, connoisseurs or simply interesting visitors await for an entire year. Motor Show 2006, everything is ready for the 31st edition of a show that has become an event, a cult for international motoring. Although the spaces reserved for two wheels are less and less (the direct competition with the EICMA is felt, as well as a particular dedication of the organizers towards the four wheels so much so that today it is defined exclusively as the "International Motor Show"), since From 7 to 17 December in Bologna there will be an exciting show for those who have made motors a lifestyle. If the absence of motorcycles will be felt in the stands, in Area 48 renamed "Shell Arena" the protagonists of the MotoGP and Superbike championships will warm up the spirits of the 50.000 spectators, the maximum capacity of the stands built specifically for the event.

A classic will return, the Supermotard race for specialists in the discipline and beyond. The “Barclaycard Superbikers” will host, in elimination races, Max Biaggi (winner in the recent past in a magical duel with Troy Bayliss), Carlos Checa, Randy De Puniet, Andrea Dovizioso, Alex De Angelis, Fabien Foret and Giovanni Bussei, plus many other protagonists who will soon announce their presence.

Still talking about MotoGP, Loris Capirossi and Marco Melandri will battle with... touring cars! In the Bomb Boogie Eurotouring, at the wheel of the official Seat Leon and Alfa Romeo 156 respectively, the centaurs will challenge category specialists in the WTCC such as Alex Zanardi, Jorg and Dirk Muller (BMW), Gabriele Tarquini (Seat), Augusto Farfus (Alfa Romeo) and Nicola Larini (Chevrolet). Just to clarify that by now we have to get used to improvised professional motorcyclists.
