MotoGP Silverstone: Stefan Bradl “It seemed like a photocopy of the Brno race, I had the same problems”

Stefan bradl he closed the Silverstone grand prix in 6th place, a disappointing result after the excellent tests which had often seen him in battle with the top riders. The Cecchinello team driver however was unable to repeat himself in the race and after starting from fifth position, he fought for half the race with Bautista and Rossi for 4th place but then gave in, as also happened in the previous Brno GP.

“I felt good on the bike – said Stefan Bradl – but then I did the same race in Brno last week because the same problems came up. I struggled with the edge of the tire and therefore had problems exiting corners and this slowed me down in my strong point, braking. Now we need to understand why we are fast in testing with used tyres, while this isn't the case in the race. Obviously we wanted to end the weekend with a better result, but there's no time to get discouraged, we'll be back on track in Misano in two weeks"
