Silverstone GP MotoGP Ducati Qualifying – Jorge Lorenzo will start from fifth place on the grid at the British Grand Prix, on the Silverstone track, the twelfth stage of the 2017 MotoGP championship.

In the English morning, with damp asphalt, the Majorcan was unable to improve on yesterday's time, but the time recorded yesterday was enough to directly access Q2.

Then, in FP4, the Majorcan managed to finish in front of everyone showing good pace; furthermore, for the Spaniard the problems suffered yesterday on the potholes seem to have been resolved.

These are the words of Jorge Lorenzo: “Today I did a good qualifying. I wasn't happy with my first time but in the second outing I got a time that I thought was good enough for the front row. Instead, other riders also improved their times and the track record was lowered, also demonstrating how much the bikes and tires are evolving. However, I am happy with my fifth time and starting from the second row, also because this circuit is not one of the most favorable for our bike. My team worked very well and we managed to solve the problem we had yesterday with the vibrations due to the dips in the asphalt. Now we need to improve our pace and I believe that with a softer ride we can improve our performance in the race."
