GP Silverstone MotoGP Ducati Team QP – Andrea Dovizioso, despite a day he described as "complicated", said he was quite satisfied with the qualifying for the British Grand Prix, the twelfth race of the 2017 MotoGP.

The Ducati rider will in fact start from the second row with the sixth fastest time and will have team-mate Jorge Lorenzo next to him, who set the fifth fastest time, in turn preceded by Maverick Vinales' Yamaha. Unlike Lorenzo, "DesmoDovi" uses the "standard" fairing, given that in his opinion the "load-bearing" one does not provide benefits on this track. The word is up to him.

“Today was a rather complicated day because unfortunately it rained this morning, and we lost almost the entire FP3 session, without being able to work as we had planned. In the end in FP4 we managed to improve quite a bit, but I'm still not entirely happy and I hope that tomorrow in the warm-up we can take another step forward – said Andrea Dovizioso – We have a good pace but there are many very fast riders and therefore we'll see in the race. However, I am satisfied with the time obtained in qualifying, because starting in the first two rows was our objective and we achieved it.”
