The Suzuki rider, who had finished with the first time in the morning session, showed himself in excellent form today and wants to compete with the top riders for the race. The Spaniard seems to already have clear ideas about the choice of tires to make even if he claims he can still improve his driving a little in the various sectors of the track. He doesn't say it, but after such a start the aim is to repeat the podium obtained at the beginning of the season.

“I still don't have the best confidence on the front – said Maverick Vinales – I think we can still improve a lot and clean up something in the driving. I feel good with the hard tire and in FP2 I used it and managed to lap in 2.02, an excellent time which can allow me to be in the final part of the race with those in front. I have to improve the trajectories, understand the tires a little better, I can improve further in the first sector but also in the 3rd and 4th"
