MotoGP 2015 Movistar Yamaha GP Malaysia QP – Great performance in qualifying in Sepang for Valentino Rossi, who outwitted team-mate Jorge Lorenzo right at the wire, thus winning a place on the front row. The nine-time world champion thus wins the first "round" over the four-time world champion, who even convinced himself of being third was entering parc fermé. Let's remember that the Majorcan must recover 11 points from the Pesaro with two races remaining including this Malaysian one.

“We had a very good qualifying, we had already improved this morning and for this afternoon we had some things to choose which turned out to be the right ones. I did a lap behind Iannone and gained confidence, then I overtook him and with the second tire I did a 1'59. However, I knew I could do even better, because I felt good on the bike and I knew I could do a good lap without making mistakes."

An important front row from a race perspective.

“I managed to beat Lorenzo and “steal” the front row from him. It's always important to be at the front, but here it's even more important.”

It felt like we were watching Italy Vs Spain.

“True, but they have one more, Pedrosa! It's 3 against 2.”

After the press conference on Thursday, after you raised a "fuss", the replies from Marquez and Lorenzo were not long in coming, with the latter talking about your strategy.

“Honestly, it's normal that Marquez responded to me, but I didn't expect it from Jorge. It is not a strategy as he claims, because a strategy is not based on true things, while my arguments are. He says he doesn't feel pressure, I do a little, lucky him!"

What race do you foresee for tomorrow?

“It will be a difficult race, everything will be different, in the meantime I'm enjoying this qualifying.”

    Friends! I haven't written for 10 months..
I have to say that Marquez's bullshit last race made my blood boil..
I swear you won't hear the engines at Misano and Mugello 2016, so many whistles, you'll get caught, an ugly braggart just out of kindergarten..
Come on Vale, turn it on, put your sights on them, try to beat them once again..
    And if you lose...
It would be a huge disappointment... but we will look back and smile again.
False friends, snakes and cowards cheering against...
    Come on Vale!
X the motograndprix editorial team: Couldn't we do some serious journalistic work and check the times and testimonies to see if Rossi's accusations are founded? Or are Honda and Marquez untouchable even as Italians? These seem like serious accusations to me, could we go into more detail or are we just continuing to be scribblers? Thank you

Your words are holy, maybe they would go into more detail but you can already see it very well from the race, I said it immediately afterwards.
However, after everything that Lorenzo di Rossi and Iannone said about slipstreaming in qualifying, today he sucked Marquez's slipstream. None of the usual ones say anything????

even on the trails there would be a chapter to open...

he has always done things on his own, in fact, he has always had people behind him who not even a freight train had all those carriages, once you find yourself... open heaven!!

But where are those who in 2013 said that Rossi would always finish 4th even 5th behind the Ducatis???? 36 and a half years old, 20 world championships.
I don't know if I can explain myself. But shouldn't Rossi be the one to accuse psychologically????

      no Nando,
Even as a kid you could see his strong personality, he never gave in, not even in the dark years with the redhead, he always held his head high...
