Marc Marquez achieved the best time in the fourth and final free practice session of the MotoGP class in Sepang. The two-time Honda world champion in fact stopped the clock at a time of 2:01.413, a time of only 73 thousandths better than that set by his team-mate Dani Pedrosa, who in turn precedes his compatriot's Yamaha by 0.202s Jorge Lorenzo.

Andrea Dovizioso confirms the fourth position obtained in FP3. The Ducati rider from Forlì riding the GP14.2 lapped 0.505s from the top and is ahead of Valentino Rossi by just 14 thousandths.

The Pesaro native was the victim of a slip at the end of the session, which fortunately resolved itself without any physical consequences. The seven-time Top Class world champion is ahead of Stefan Bradl's Team LCR Honda, Cal Crutchlow's Ducati and Bradley Smith's Team Tech3 Yamaha.

Closing out the Top Ten are Aleix Espargarò (riding the Forwad Racing Yamaha Open) and Scott Redding, riding the Team Gresini Honda RCV1000R Open.

Seventeenth and eighteenth time for Alex de Angelis from San Marino and Danilo Petrucci from Terni. Andrea Iannone will not take part in this Grand Prix, declared "unfit” after yesterday's fall, triggered by an involuntary contact caused by Marc Marquez. A real shame for the Team Pramac Ducati rider, who still has the Valencia race left to give his team a prestigious result.
