MotoGP – Sepang – Loris Capirossi in ninth position

After excellent qualifying and Warm Up, Loris Capirossi expects a good result in Sepang in the MotoGP race, but unfortunately for him the rain forced him to encounter unexpected difficulties. In the first laps he didn't feel confident with the tyres, finding himself behind and then recovering to a ninth place finish which certainly can't be positive for him.

“I don't have much to say about today, but I'm certainly very disappointed. The team worked hard over the weekend and we were convinced that we could have a good race today after the excellent warm up, but the rain made this objective difficult for us. Our set-up in the wet was quite good, but I struggled a lot in the first laps because I couldn't have confidence with the tyres. When I found myself 13th I started to recover until I finished in ninth place: the result is definitely not positive, we weren't lucky this weekend.”
