MotoGP – Sepang – Dani Pedrosa: "I'm very happy and I congratulate Rossi"

“Racing in the rain has always been one of my weaknesses, and so for a long time I tried to improve this by working hard and pushing my limits in the wet. This has not been an easy process, but now, finally, I have achieved a podium in the wet so I am really happy and I want to thank all the people who helped us in this process. In the middle of the race Andrea (Dovizioso, ed.) was just behind and put some pressure on me, but I was going well and was able to maintain my attention and concentration. Finally, when he crashed, another rider was on the way and this time it was Valentino (Rossi, ed.). He was going much faster than me, but in the last laps I kept my pace and was able to finish in second place. I am very happy today. I also want to congratulate Valentino on the world championship – nine titles is amazing. Now we're going to Valencia and we'll give our all there too. It's a track I like and there will be a lot of fans, so I'm looking forward to being there.”
