Another race to forget for Marco Melandri who is gaining little or nothing in 2008 aboard the Ducati Desmosedici GP8 with Bridgestone tyres. The driver from Ravenna actually finished the Sepang race in sixteenth position without picking up a single point. Fortunately for him there is only one race left at the end of the season and then he will dive into the Kawasaki adventure obviously hoping that it will be significantly better than the one he experienced with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer. The word is up to him.

“It was a pretty bad race. We used the settings from yesterday afternoon but in fact I never found the same sensations again. From the first laps I had little confidence on the front and I couldn't enter the corners with the brakes. The more laps passed, the worse things got. I chose a soft tire at the rear so the grip was very good at the start but, halfway through the race, I risked falling on a couple of occasions in fast corners and at that point I lost further confidence.”
