GP Germany MotoGP Yamaha – The crash during the Dutch Grand Prix was a hard blow to the standings for Maverick Vinales who lost his lead in the standings and is now trailed by his teammate, just 3 points away.

However, the Spanish driver has found new reasons for the mistake, and in Germany his only objective will be to win. The mistake wasn't necessary, but the championship is long and this is all experience for the rest of the season.

The Yamaha rider stood on the Sachsenring podium twice: in 2 when he raced in 2011 and in 125 in Moto2013. In the premier class, in his two years with Suzuki, he never managed to finish in the top ten.

These are the words of Maverick Vinales: “We arrive at the Sachsenring with a positive mentality. We have to keep in mind that after the collapse in Assen we are only four points behind the leader. We must learn from our mistakes and try not to repeat them. Now I just want to look forward. I can't wait to get back on my bike, prepare for this weekend's race and of course our aim will be to win, not just to be on the podium. We need to focus on regaining our position as championship leaders.”
