MotoGP Sachsenring, FP4: Honda dominates with Marquez and Pedrosa
The Repsol Honda Team duo ahead of everyone in the last free practice session
German GP MotoGP Free practice 4 – The fourth free practice session of the MotoGP German Grand Prix saw the riders take to the track with slick tyres. The sky, which threatened rain, in fact gave a respite and the riders were able to test in the dry, at least until ten minutes from the end, when a light rain fell on the Sachsenring circuit.
The fastest in a session not valid for entry into Q2, but which the riders use both from a qualifying lap perspective and from a race perspective, was Marc Marquez, who stopped the clock at a time of 1:21.822.
Marquez preceded team-mate Dani Pedrosa, Ducati compatriot Alvaro Bautista, and home rider, rookie Jonas Folger, by 0.105s.
Fifth time for Johann Zarco (Folger's team-mate in Team Monster Yamaha Tech 3), followed by Cal Crutchlow's Team LCR Honda, Aleix Espargarò's Aprilia and world championship leader Andrea Dovizioso's Ducati.
The Top Ten is closed by Maverick Vinales and Andrea Iannone, while Valentino Rossi is twelfth. Qualifying starts in a few minutes, which you can follow clicking here.
