Aprilia MotoGP – Last week the Aprilia MotoGP was presented which will take part in the 2015 world championship with Marco Melandri from Ravenna and the Spaniard Alvaro Bautista. This year the Noale company will line up like Ducati and Suzuki and will therefore be able to benefit from the advantages reserved for the Open (more liters available, soft rubber and above all the possibility of developing the bike during the season), but from next year it will be deployed as Full Factory. In this regard, here are the words of Romano Albesiano, Manager of Aprilia Racing.

“We have already taken to the track for the first tests of this new adventure of ours. We have chosen to bring forward the return plan, throwing ourselves into the fray already in the 2015 MotoGP World Championship, because we believe it is certainly the riskiest but also the most correct solution to gain competitiveness as soon as possible. We certainly could have avoided the pressure by waiting for next year, but that's not what Aprilia wanted – said Romano Albesiano – At a development level we start from solid foundations, which are the winning experience in Superbike and the ART project, the only CRT capable to demonstrate potential close to the "real" MotoGP. This will be a year of testing, development and in some ways also sacrifice for us, to be made the most of with a view to 2016 when we will take a real Aprilia prototype bike to the track. We do not underestimate the difficulties of this commitment but we have all the elements available to be able to face it successfully: a solid technological platform, a racing department of the highest level and partners who support us in this new challenge."

Ah well, thank you very much, from 2016 it will be full factory... from 2016 there will be a single class and the factory-open distinction will disappear!
