Andrea Iannone achieved the eighth time in qualifying for the Grand Prix of the Argentine Republic, the third stage of the 2014 world championship. The Team Pramac rider, fresh from yesterday's bad crash caused by a technical problem on his Ducati, will therefore start from the third row . Here's what he told us at the end of qualifying.

Andrea, how are you physically after yesterday's fall?

“I have a little pain in my neck, but otherwise it's pretty good.”

You qualified with the eighth fastest time and will therefore start from the third row.

“In qualifying, unfortunately, on my fastest lap I risked a high-side and therefore I wasn't able to improve my time, which therefore could have been better, but that's okay.”

From a race perspective, how are you "positioned"?

“In Free Practice 4 the situation was quite good, I'm quite happy with the race pace, even if the tires will be decisive.”

Obligatory tire choice with this asphalt?

“We will put the hard both front and rear, which actually corresponds to the Factory average. However, the tire issue remains a big unknown, tomorrow they will be decisive."
