MotoGP Qatar, Qualifying: Danilo Petrucci “We didn't choose the right tactic”

Danilo Petrucci, driver from Terni of the Came IodaRacing Project, is not satisfied with the first qualifying round of the year. The new qualifying format, wrong tactics and some errors relegated him to the seventh row. The word is up to him.
“First of all, we'll have to get used to the new qualifying system a bit, then I'm not the type of driver used to using slipstreams as is done here in the smaller categories, above all I didn't find anyone on the track to attack me in the 15s. minutes available. With the tactics, it didn't go well. We had planned to do a good lap with the soft tyre, but I made a mistake and threw away this opportunity, in the second run, instead I did two laps alone which made me understand that for better or worse my time is not too far away from the other CRTs".
