MotoGP Qatar: Maverick Viñales, “Proud of the front row”

Maverick Viñales MotoGP 2016 QP Suzuki Ecstar – Great performance at Losail for Maverick Viñales, Suzuki MotoGP rider. After an amazing pre-season, the Spanish rider achieved the third fastest time behind his compatriots Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez and will therefore start from the front row. The word is up to him.

“I am very happy, we have done an incredible job and we are reaping what we sowed in winter. This is just qualifying and the race is tomorrow, but being in third place makes me proud. It has great meaning, given that last year I started twelfth. This shows how hard we have worked and I want to thank Suzuki for the development work done in the winter and my team who give me full support – said Vinales – The extraordinary last lap is the result of the hard work I did in the winter, but also of my calm: I'm taking advantage of the experience gained last year and also the engine, which has made a huge step forward.”
