Qatar GP, Ducati Team – No activity in Pisa on this third day of competition valid for the Qatar Grand Prix, the inaugural event of the 2017 MotoGP world championship. The rain that fell on Losail did not in fact allow the riders to carry out the qualifying session, forcing the race direction to establish the starting grid based on the combined practice. Andrea Dovizioso was disappointed with the end of the day, although, considering the weather conditions and the poor drainage of the Losail track, he believes that the decision to cancel everything was the right one. See you tomorrow for the warm-up session.

Here are the words of Andrea Dovizioso: “Unfortunately, the conditions we found today didn't allow us to test in the wet or even do the work we had planned in the dry. In any case, it was right to make the decision to cancel the tests because today there were no conditions to ride safely on slicks. At this point we will use the time we will have available tomorrow in the warm up to choose the tire to use in the race and try to be as ready as possible."
