MotoGP Qatar: Andrea Dovizioso “Satisfied with the position. the objective was at least the second row"

Andrea Dovizioso MotoGP 2016 Qualifying Qatar Team Ducati – Andrea Dovizioso he closed the Losail qualifying session with a good 6th time and will start tomorrow on the second row, among the other two Italians, his team mate Iannone and Valentino Rossi. However, the man from Forlì said he wasn't exactly satisfied with the qualifying, also because today he didn't have the same feeling he had in recent days with his bike. But what is certain is that the Ducati is very fast on this track and therefore the objective tomorrow is to compete until the checkered flag as he did 12 months ago.

“I'm quite happy with my position – said Andrea Dovizioso – even though I thought I could do something better. However, the objective was to be able to start from one of the first two rows and we achieved it, and this makes me calm. Unfortunately today my feeling, especially during qualifying, wasn't the same as yesterday so I wasn't able to push as I would have liked. However, I am satisfied with the work we have done so far: now we will have to decide which rear tire to use in the race, but we are still fast and have the pace, and therefore we can play for it."
