MotoGP – Preview Valencia – Dani Pedrosa is looking forward to his home Grand Prix

Dani Pedrosa is anxiously awaiting the next GP of the Valencian Community, the last round of the 2009 world championship and the Spaniard's home race. Pedrosa is currently in fourth position in the world rankings with 209 points compared to 22nd for Casey Stoner, who precedes him in third place. The word is up to him.

“I always look forward to this Grand Prix, and this year is no different. It's a circuit that I really like, even though it's a very narrow layout, but what makes it really special is the way you can feel the support of the fans as you go around the circuit. And of course, being a Spanish rider, I get a lot of positive attention which gives you some extra motivation. I've had some good results in Valencia in the past, and this weekend it would be nice to finish the year with a win, that's what I want. It hasn't been the easiest of seasons and we haven't been able to fight for the championship, so I'm even more determined to do well. The result of the last race, where I got on the podium for the first time in wet conditions, gave me a lot of confidence. We know it can rain in Valencia, so we are ready for anything this weekend. “
