MotoGP – Preview Shanghai – Capirossi: "We can be competitive"

It's time to respond to the objectives set at the beginning of the year. Loris Capirossi aims to do well in Shanghai, a track which on paper is favorable to the characteristics of the Suzuki, and definitely appreciated by the rider from Borgo Rivola. Sixth last year in China, Loris aims to improve on this tally, trying at least to repeat the excellent fifth place in Jerez, currently his best result in Suzuki MotoGP.

“I really like the Shanghai track and I'm sure the bike there will be competitive”, says Loris Capirossi. “Like I said, we're not where we want to be right now and I'm determined to change course. Suzuki and the whole team are working hard to respond to my requests, so I want to give my best to obtain a result that can reward them for their efforts. It will be interesting to test our speed skills in Shanghai with the long straight: I am convinced that with our package we can be competitive".
