MotoGP – Preview Sachsenring – Melandri: "I like it because it's very driven"
Marco Melandri is preparing to compete in the German GP, the tenth round of the 2007 world championship, on a track that he says is interesting. In fact, the race will take place at the Sachsenring, a very particular circuit that the driver from Ravenna likes as it is very driven. Melandri somewhat disappointed expectations at the start of the season and now finds himself in sixth position in the world championship standings with 87 points, behind Chris Vermeulen's Suzuki. He has the microphone.
“Now we're going to race on two interesting tracks. The Germany-United States double will be challenging. The Sachsenring is a particular circuit, I like it because it is very driven. On this slow and twisty track, the bike setting must be perfect. As far as driving is concerned, it is important to control the throttle well without being too aggressive.”
