MotoGP Preview Qatar: Dovizioso, “I'm aiming for a place on the podium”

Andrea Dovizioso MotoGP Qatar – The pre-season tests are over and from Thursday the MotoGP riders are ready to take to the track for the first tests of the Qatar Grand Prix, the inaugural race of the 2017 world championship, which as usual will be held at night on the Losail circuit. Among these is Andrea Dovizioso, reconfirmed at Ducati and who spoke thus.
“In the tests ten days ago on this circuit we did a good job, and therefore we arrive at the race ready for the different conditions that we may find. I'm happy to have had confirmation of our good performances and the competitiveness of the new bike, so we can aim for a good result - said Andrea Dovizioso - As always at the start of the season we still have some unknowns to resolve, especially in terms of the race, because on this circuit it is not easy to maintain the same pace for 22 laps and the track requires considerable physical effort. In the last two years, however, I have always fought for victories and I hope that this year I will find myself in the same situation, even if I know it will not be easy because some of our rivals have excellent pace. However, I am really optimistic for the race and therefore I am clearly aiming for a podium position.”
