Andrea Dovizioso arrives in Australia, the third of three consecutive non-European races, after obtaining two podiums in Motegi and Sepang. Two strong second places obtained behind Stoner in Motegi and Rossi in Sepang. Morale is high and the man from Forlì wants to continue this trend. The word is up to him.

“We arrive in Australia in a strong position, with two consecutive podiums achieved on two circuits with a very different layout and with different temperatures on race day. This means we have made a big step forward. We have improved things a lot in terms of set up and electronics, and now we are able to fight for the win. Last Sunday in Malaysia we finished just two tenths behind Valentino, and we need to stay at that level and we need to be consistent. Furthermore, in the last two races there have been two different winners, while we have been consistently in second place. So I'm confident that we can also be competitive at Phillip Island, a very demanding and technical track and one of the fastest on the calendar. Our goal is to finish third in the world championship this season, so we need to score good results in the remaining races. Phillip Island is a very spectacular place, the circuit is very close to the sea and this makes it unique. The atmosphere on race day is always very nice, because there are a lot of fans who are really passionate. The real unknown is always the weather as it is always very variable and can be very cold. In any case, the cold conditions are not a problem for us, so we are very confident for the Australian GP.”
