MotoGP – Preview Misano – Alex De Angelis: "Fantastic to return home after the result in Indy"

Alex De Angelis arrives in his home GP in Misano (he was born in San Marino) after the splendid performance in Indianapolis, where he climbed to the second step of the podium after a beautiful race. The Team Gresini centaur, still without a motorbike for next season, will therefore give his all to give himself and give his fans (his official Fan Club will also be present) great joy. The former 125cc and 250cc class rider knows he has to “earn” a team for 2010 through strong performances at the end of the season. The word is up to him.

“It's fantastic to return home after the result obtained in Indianapolis, now I can't wait to race in Misano! To be honest, it's not really one of my favorite circuits, but I'm looking forward to racing in front of my fans and giving my best. My official Fan Club will also be present, with the colors of the San Marino flag, and my supporters will certainly give me a great boost and one more reason to push beyond every limit. I realize that right now I'm riding to secure a place in MotoGP, but I want to continue to prove that I deserve it and, as we have done in the last few races, we need to remain focused and consistent until the end of the season.”
