MotoGP – Preview Losail – Dani Pedrosa will be on track

Today Dani Pedrosa confirmed that he will participate in the first race of the 2009 World Championship, he explained it through his blog to his fans via the website www.repsol.com. Pedrosa says he is prepared to face the first race, even if obviously he is not in the best possible condition. We remind you that Pedrosa was injured in a high-side at Losail, suffering not only a fracture but also a tear in the skin of the knee already injured at Phillip Island, during the last GP in October. Here are his words.

“I'm delighted to be able to race again this weekend, but I have to tell you that I'm not 100% fit, so I'm well aware that I will be at a disadvantage in Qatar. Dr. Ferreira & Doctor Mir did a great job for my knee and arm, but the time we had for my recovery, especially for my knee, was very short. Even though I have made good use of the last two weeks and we have made good progress, I am aware that in Qatar I will not be able to win but we will try to get as many points as possible which could prove useful at the end of the season.”
