MotoGP – Preview Jerez – Nakano point high

Shinya Nakano is preparing to face his second season riding the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR. The Japanese bike has progressed a lot this winter, not only for the new Big-Bang engine but also for the feeling with the new Bridgestone tires. In the latest tests carried out in Jerez, both Nakano and Hoffmann tested the potential of the new engine by completing 369 laps. The Japanese driver's morale is high, here are his words:

“During the Jerez tests we collected a lot of data, running with both the new Big-Bang engine and the old chassis. Balance is very important on this track, in Jerez if you are too aggressive in your riding you waste time and are slower than you expect. In Jerez I like both the track and the splendid crowd setting, I particularly like the last sector of the track, that's where the time is made. After a long winter I can't wait to get back on track.”
