MotoGP – Preview Indianapolis – Valentino Rossi: “Special place”

Valentino Rossi arrives in Indianapolis after the dull race in Brno. The next Ducati rider, however, is confident because in the Brno tests he managed to understand the reasons that slowed him down in the race. In 2009 he won in very critical weather conditions and hopes to repeat that performance although obviously he would prefer to race in the sun. The word is up to him.

“Indianapolis is a special place, an amazing circuit and as always it's fun to race in America. I have memories of the great 2009 where I won when there was a hurricane, although it's not something I want to repeat! This year we arrived in a different situation compared to last year, fifth in the championship and not 100% in physical condition, but I feel stronger. Brno was disappointing but the test helped us understand what went wrong and so hopefully we can get back in good shape at Indy.”
