MotoGP – Preview Estoril – Hector Barbera: “We will work from a race perspective”

Hector Barbera arrives in Estoril (third stage of the 2011 world championship) after the excellent sixth place obtained in the Jerez de la Frontera race. The Team Aspar rider aims to work in race configuration in order to have the best possible feeling with his Desmosedici GP11. The word is up to him.

“The goal in Portugal is to improve the way we work during testing. Above all we want to improve the set-up of my Ducati with attention to the race, as we did in Jerez. We want to find the best rhythm and we want to be fully aware of our potential. Estoril is a circuit where I have done well in the past and I have great memories. I was fourth for a couple of laps in my first season, but I crashed due to the wet track and then the following year I won. Usually I can find a good feeling straight away and I hope it's the same this year. I prepared very well during the break and can't wait to get on track.”
