MotoGP – Preview Estoril – Dani Pedrosa: “Only Friday will I find out my real conditions”
Dani Pedrosa will try to return to being a protagonist this weekend in Estoril, the penultimate stage of the 2010 world championship. The Spanish rider of the Repsol Honda Team, back from his injury in Motegi, hopes to be in good enough shape on Portuguese soil even if there remains concern about his his physical resistance. Here are his words.
“I'm better off than in Australia. Every day I improved with work and rehabilitation. The bone is not a problem, what we are still worried about are the muscles and tendons. That's where we really need to regain mobility and strength, which is very important. For now, the recovery is going according to logical terms. The downside is that, as always, we won't know my real condition until we get on track on Friday. What we can think of is to get there and do some serious fine-tuning work. Let's hope that Portugal goes much better than in Phillip Island."
