Loris Capirossi, rider of the Rizla Suzuki Team, hopes to be able to do well at Donington Park (tenth round of the 2009 world championship), a track which represents many positive moments for the rider from Imola. Capirossi, after the bad performance at Sachsenring (where he finished eleventh), therefore hopes to be able to do well; the motivations are high, he has the say.

“Donington is a very important race, because after the weekend we had in Germany, we need a good performance and to find the best solutions and setup that helps us go fast. I missed last year's race after my injuries in Barcelona and so this year I want to do well at a track that I love. We need some good results, as the whole team is working hard and although we probably don't have the best bikes at the moment, our aim is to maintain maximum effort until we are further ahead. I'm 95% fit and after practice I'm sure I'll be fully fit for the race.”
