Kawasaki is preparing to face the Dutch TT in Assen with confidence; Nakano's seventh place in Catalunya gave new life to the 'verdona' who achieved her best result in Spain since she returned to MotoGP in 2002.
Nakano has recovered from the scary accident that occurred at Mugello and should be at 100% at Assen. His teammate Hoffmann is also confident, the German is achieving good results and last year finished the race in tenth position. Here are their words:

Shinya Nakano: No. 56
“Assen is a very fast track with a lot of blind corners and with direction changes it is difficult to see the next corner. I really like the track because it reminds me of the Japanese ones where I raced. Speed is very important in Assen, especially in the first corners of the track. It is very important to have a balanced bike when entering corners and when changing direction with good support on the front and these are the strengths of the Ninja ZX-RR. Now physically I feel much better than in Barcelona where I achieved a surprising seventh place and where I kept the pace of many Honda riders.”

Alex Hofmann: No. 66
“Assen is very important for me. It's one of the fastest tracks in the championship and plus there are many German fans, it's like racing a second GP at home.
Last year in the rain I gained experience and this year the 2004 ZX-RR represents a big step forward both in terms of steering and direction changes, very important characteristics in Assen. In the Barcelona race I had no problems and I was lucky, after having experienced disappointing weekends it could represent a turning point. I arrive at Assen with a positive mentality, I want to repeat last year's performances."
