MotoGP – Previes Estoril – The press conference

The Portuguese GP started with the classic press conference. Present in addition to the two Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Dovizioso, Mika Kallio and the Team Tech3 Team Manager Herve Poncharal. “It's the crucial moment of the season so this month will be crucial. They are all good tracks for me and 30 points is a good advantage, but not too much. We will have to stay very focused so as not to repeat Indianapolis.
I expected Ben to do another year on superbikes. I think it's the right decision given that it was his dream to get to MotoGP. He is a young driver and he will definitely be another great rival for next year.”

Jorge Lorenzo
“I remember last year here. It was a great surprise and a great day. Today it's different, even in terms of tires. We should start from scratch and find our rhythm again. I am confident and happy to be here in Portugal.
Spies' arrival is excellent news for Yamaha. Ben has great character and I'm sure he will do well."
