Pramac Racing – Pramac Racing was presented today and will face the 2015 season of the MotoGP class with the Terni native Danilo Petrucci and the Colombian Yonny Hernandez.

The setting for the Team's presentation was Cecchi, a historic winery nestled in the hills of Castellina in Chianti in the province of Siena. This is the fourteenth year in the world championship for Pramac Racing, a team that has had a strong bond with Ducati since 2006 and which this season too, as has been the case for three years now, will be a Factory Supported Team. This is also demonstrated by the presence of Sports Director Paolo Ciabatti and Engineer. Luigi Dall'Igna.

“It is with great pride and unchanged enthusiasm – began Paolo Campinoti – that we find ourselves presenting our team for the fourteenth consecutive year. The 2014 season was full of emotions for us and further tightened, if ever there was a need, the bond with Ducati of which Andrea Iannone will be the standard bearer in 2015. This is a mission that we strongly feel is ours: to be a support operational for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer as well as a cellar, to use a parallel with the splendid location that hosts us this evening, where young talents can mature. We will rely on that of Yonny Hernandez and the great desire of Danilo Petrucci who have already demonstrated that they can be competitive. We will have high-performance motorbikes available on whose livery we have reintroduced the green color that characterizes the Pramac corporate logo. We welcome the new partners of Pramac Racing, in particular Octo and FIAMM who have placed their trust in our project and will accompany us over the next seasons. With the certainty of always giving our best on and off the track, with the hope of obtaining extraordinary results for us, all we can do is wait for the first stage of the MotoGP in Qatar, a very special event given that Pramac will be the one to light up the Losail circuit.”

Here are the words of Team Manager Francesco Guidotti: “A challenge is renewed which for us coincides with the beginning of a new cycle – said Francesco Guidotti. We entrust our ambitions to two talented riders who have already demonstrated that they understand and share the philosophy and working methods of Pramac Racing. Yonny Hernandez has been with us for a season which has served him more as an apprenticeship coming from not particularly rewarding experiences. We took him by the hand and now we expect him to make a leap in quality, especially in managing the race. He will be able to rely on the Ducati Desmosedici GP 14.2 which has proven to be very competitive and therefore capable of helping him achieve the objectives we have set ourselves. Furthermore, his working group is almost the same as last season and the harmony is good. It's true, the injury wasn't necessary but the mechanism is still well-established.
Danilo Petrucci is a rider yet to be discovered but already after the first tests I cannot deny that he has created the conditions for us to hope. It is his first experience on a factory bike like the Ducati Desmosedici GP14 which he has yet to discover and understand better. He will have a profoundly renewed team at his side, but one that will benefit from the experience and professionalism of Ducati technicians. This too is an aspect that confirms the deep bond that Pramac Racing has forged with Ducati."
