MotoGP: The four 2013 Factory Ducatis are officially presented

They will be taken to the track by Dovizioso, Hayden, Iannone and Spies

Ducati has officially presented the four Factory bikes that will be ridden on the track by Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden for the Ducati Team and by Andrea Iannone and Ben Spies for the Pramac Team. On the bikes of the first two, red once again dominates, while for the Team Pramac riders there is a predominance of white with red in a minor tone.

As already said in the press conference by Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden, the bikes do not differ much from those used in the last Valencia tests and again these only seem to have the colours. In fact, at Ducati they are still working on the GP13 project, but the next test will be carried out with the bikes you see in the photo.

The riders' numbers respect the "standard" ones (69 for Hayden, 29 yellow for Iannone and 11 for Spies) even if in the case of Dovizioso there is a "0" before the usual "4" used by the former rider Honda and Yamaha.

“2012 was a very important year for Ducati. We became part of the Audi group, and we set new records in terms of profits, sales and production, opened new markets and gained important shares – he declared Gabriel Del Torchio – “It didn't go as well from a sporting point of view, but our motto is 'never give up' and with the ability to react that has always distinguished us, for 2013 we present ourselves with a new structure, ready for the challenge in track. Today I have the pleasure of welcoming Bernhard Gobmeier, freshly appointed at the helm of Ducati Corse, with his coordination and cooperation I am convinced that we will certainly do very well. Bernhard takes over from Filippo Preziosi, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks for the work carried out in this structure over twelve years, and good work for the new, important role that he will play in the company. Furthermore, Paolo Ciabatti, who has returned to Ducati after a few years, has been entrusted with the role of manager of the MotoGP project, who will be supported by Vittoriano Guareschi, Team Manager. A welcome, obviously, to Andrea Dovizioso, our new standard bearer, and a welcome meeting to Nicky Hayden, a pair of champions who make us look to the future with optimism and confidence.”

But how …. all those who left positive comments on the beauty of the new GP13 previewed this morning (fake!)…. where did they go???? AH… AH… AH….
Who said “The 2008 Red is back”…. Yes, yes …. with Santa Claus and the Reindeers….
It has basically remained the same bike as last year. I only hope that this year the Germans will be able to intervene in a timely and punctual manner on the development and production of "solution" parts to try to bring the Jap closer!

...in fact, it only has a slightly different fairing compared to the one chosen by Rossi...it seemed quite similar to that of last year but I didn't insist, the photo could be deceiving...it's not however that these bikes have to be beautiful, they have to just go...and even if Ducati didn't get to the end of any race, those who have never supported anyone would still have fun...people like me are interested in the races, whether they're close or not, but only the races!!!

@fatman. but the important thing is…????

…testoner…don't make me say mean things that could be used against me ah, ah, ah!!! And then I have to hold back, since there are women on the forum (slap, slap)!!!

      3. tester said:

you're such a rascal... what idiots we were (me first of all) to believe about the GP13...

...in fact, I refrained from raging on some...it didn't seem like much had changed but, you know...between beers, prosecco, negroni and whiskey in the evening I thought I wasn't seeing so well...let's say that, fortunately, I didn't lose the eye of the good times...by the way, the next time you attack me I will make you a macumba and you will drink only milk and fruit juices for two months...

      5. tester said:

minky@ if you are pirl@(friendly..)!!! I'm laughing like crazy.... and maybe pear juices!!!!!!! then nothing but gagotto... loose!! you're too strong hahahaha

      6. tester said:

My throat hurts! I can't stop laughing anymore………….

      7. fatman said:

…they'll make you advertise toilet paper…it never ends ah, ah, ah!!!
But what bad luck... in recent times no one has been able to run well and "get" in the dry... I challenge each of us on the forum to make sensible predictions... irreducible aside, of course...

      8. tester said:

@fatman. It's always difficult to make predictions... it's true. I also remember Cagiva doing badly the year before...and in '94 he finished 3rd in the world championship!! yet that bike was an evolution of the previous one. and for the most beautiful motorbike... I'll put a road one from another era. the great zxr 750 ninja!!!!!!!! what a horse!!!! my brother had it... and secondly the bike that changed an age was... the legendary 916. (and he thinks that I hate road ducatis... I called them the piss@ oil...)

        @testoner

...you have always been open-minded ah, ah, ah...do you know Ed the wrist's motto?..."I piss on the pumps and on the odd cylinders..."...well, I don't see myself in this, especially thinking about the Kawa 3 cylinders...I a tear fell...

I don't know if it's the graphics or what, but they give me a very "retro" impression, to be good.

    1. fatman said:

…I love vintage…maybe it's the age ah, ah, ah…in any case, in recent years, the most beautiful bikes have always been the Yamahas…in my opinion, having seen it in person, the most beautiful one it's the Aprilia RSV4 SBK...but it's not a prototype, it's beautiful because the road version is already amazing...

  • jorgeandpedrosapatabum said:

now the ducati is more beautiful with dovizioso, valentino rossi makes the bike uglier and tastier and slower!

  • Dario said:

Normally we say 'bad but if it goes well it doesn't matter' this is not only bad but it's also bad... I agree the most beautiful is the Aprilia RSV4 in SBK and MotoGP without a doubt the M1
