Phillip Island is one of the least demanding circuits for MotoGP brakes. The Australian track (which hosts the penultimate stage of the 2012 world championship) has three braking sections and none of these are particularly challenging. What characterizes this track are the very cold temperatures which mean that Brembo sometimes uses carbon covers for the brake discs in order to maintain the initial braking temperature adequate.
