Third time for Jorge Lorenzo who remains more than a second behind the undisputed king of this track, Casey Stoner, who in his Phillip Island seems to literally do a different job. If things remain like this, the leader of the world championship standings has nothing left to do but aim to put the wheels in front of Dani Pedrosa, who precedes him by a few thousandths. “It was really tough today, the conditions were quite difficult. It was very windy which made driving not very pleasant for us. We will try to stay with Dani here, and also with Casey, but he is very fast and on this track he is on another level. I think we are close to Dani, our goal is to try to beat him. Tomorrow we will try to make the bike more stable to keep the wheels on the ground and be less bothered by the wind"
