MotoGP Phillip Island Preview: Dovizioso, “Only three races left and anything can happen”
The Ducati rider from Forlì added: "We are not the favorites but we will fight as always"
Gp Australia MotoGP Ducati Team Preview – Andrea Dovizioso, after his splendid victory at Motegi, closed the gap on championship leader Marc Marquez, now 11 points away. The Ducati rider from Forlì arrives at Phillip Island recharged and motivated, even though he knows that the Australian track is one of the Honda Spaniard's favourites.
Dovizioso has been on the podium at Phillip Island three times, achieving a victory in 125 in 2004 and a third place in MotoGP in 2011, while last year he ended his race with a fourth place. He has the microphone.
“Phillip Island is certainly one of Marquez's favorite tracks, and the situation will probably be a little more difficult for us, but last year we had a good race and therefore we must try to work in the best possible way throughout the weekend – he said Andrea Dovizioso – There are only three races left until the end of the Championship and anything can happen: we must always try to be fast on all tracks and in all conditions. On paper we are not the favorites to win in Australia but we will fight as always.”

It will be difficult, almost impossible, Marquez is too strong... but Dovi has proven to be a fighter, raise your hand who would have bet a euro on a season finale with Andrea and Ducati there to compete with the strongest rider?
He will try until the end, he has nothing to lose and whatever happens, his championship will have been phenomenal.
I would be sorry if he doesn't win the championship because what counts is who wins, second place will not go down in history even though he did something extraordinary, I dare say the first who managed to beat Marquez in a direct duel
