MotoGP Phillip Island Race: Zarco, “It was an incredible race, it's a shame we missed the podium”

Australian GP Phillip Island MotoGP Yamaha Tech3 – Johann Zarco finished the Australian Grand Prix, 16th stage of the 2017 MotoGP, in fourth position.

The Frenchman of Yamaha Tech3, after an incredible battle for the entire duration of the race, was beaten at the finish line by Rossi and Vinales, finishing just 16 thousandths behind the Spaniard.

These are the words of Johann Zarco: “It was incredible, Rossi was very strong in braking. At the last corner I tried to gain more traction but in the end I also lost third place. I wanted to fight for the victory and that was the case, except for Marc who ran away. The podium at Le Mans was fantastic, but this race was incredible. I'm happy with the work I did with the team, we did an excellent job, I was strong in the distance and in traction I was fine, it's a shame I missed out on the podium.”
