Andrea Dovizioso achieved the 5th time (1'29.945) on the first day of testing for the Australian Grand Prix. The Ducati rider, who also crashed at turn 11, doesn't have a great feeling with the Desmosedici GP14.2, perhaps also due to the lack of grip on the Australian track, where today the asphalt temperature was quite cold for MotoGP standards. The word is up to him.

“For the moment I don't have a great feeling with my bike, but the track conditions today were a bit strange and there was really little grip. Many riders, myself included at turn 11, crashed and lost the front because today the air temperature was quite cold and the right side of the tire wasn't up to temperature. Furthermore, it is very difficult to control the rear tire and I don't know if tomorrow, with higher temperatures, the situation will be able to improve much. In the end I managed to set a good time, but we definitely still have to work to improve my feeling."
