MotoGP – Phillip Island – Alex De Angelis: “Excellent result for us”

Once again Alex De Angelis in this last part of the season was the author of a good race, managing to finish in fourth place and thus getting closer to seventh place in the championship. The San Marino rider is happy with this performance, hoping that it can be useful for him to find confirmation in next year's MotoGP.

“It was a fantastic weekend and I really enjoyed the race, especially in the first four – five laps where I was lapping together with the best in the championship. However, their pace was unsustainable and it was already a success for me to be able to do a few laps with them, also useful for building a good advantage over the riders behind me. From that point on, it was about maintaining fourth position, a great result for us. Apart from the two "zeros" in Misano and Estoril, starting from the GP in Germany I have always maintained excellent levels, finishing in the top 5 in four races and proving that I deserved seventh place in the championship. It is also a credit to my team because I work very well with them and I would really like to thank them.”
