MotoGP – Now it's official, Tamada switches to Michelin
di Alessio BrunoriNovember 22, 2004
Makoto Tamada and Honda will no longer be on track with Bridgestone. The news was in the air but now it's official, the Team led by Luca Montiron will race with Michelins.
The decision was made by Honda leaders who did not like the 'favorable' treatment given by Bridgestone to Suzuki and Kawasaki in 2004.
Now Montiron will have to reorganize the team, here are his words:
“It won't be an easy task, we will try to follow a structure similar to that of last year. Tamada will continue to be followed by his Japanese technical chief (Hirano) and he will be assisted by the engineer Giulio Bernardelle".
