MotoGP – Naoki Matsudo will test the WCM in Brno
di Alessio Brunori3 August, 2004
Naoki Matsudo will test the WCM after the Czech GP. About two weeks ago Team manager Peter Clifford declared that he had reached an agreement with Blata (a Czech company that produces mini-bikes) to develop a V6 prototype for 2005 for the MotoGP. Here are the words of the Japanese pilot:
“Racing in MotoGP is my dream. I have been waiting for an opportunity like this for a long time and now my wish is coming true. Peter Clifford explained the V6 Blata project to me and we've been talking about it ever since. On the Monday after the race I will test the bike that WCM is currently bringing to the track.” Further details on the V6 engine will be announced in Brno on August 22nd during the Czech GP.
