MotoGP: Nakamoto "confirms" Pedrosa in Honda

According to Honda's HRC Executive Vice President, the Spaniard's renewal could be announced at Mugello

MotoGP: Nakamoto "confirms" Pedrosa in HondaMotoGP: Nakamoto "confirms" Pedrosa in Honda

The motorbike market goes crazy (at least in words), one day Rossi is on an official Yamaha, the next on a satellite, the next on an official Honda, then on an official one but with an external team. To date, however, the only certainty of a "certain" handlebar for the next two years is Jorge Lorenzo, who has renewed with Yamaha and the other certainty (unfortunately for the show) is that Casey Stoner will retire at the end of the year.

As regards the Honda chapter, it is worth noting a statement from Nakamoto who told MCN that negotiations with Pedrosa have advanced, so much so that he can announce his renewal already at Mugello. “My feeling is very positive and we have already decided many of the main points. I hope we will be able to announce his signing at Mugello, unless Ducati or Yamaha make crazy offers!” said the HRC Executive Vice President

Our feeling is that Pedrosa will have to give up a good part of his current salary, but perhaps the Honda RC213V could also be worth a "cut" of this type. At this point Valentino Rossi's official return to HRC would be complete and given that a few days ago the nine-time world champion spoke to a friend about an "irresponsible" offer from Audi, his stay in Ducati with “resetting” the technical staff is anything but fantasy.

This renewal was obvious... we'll see who his teammate will be, ah yes Marc Marquez.
In my opinion, Honda's choice is the right one because, with Stoner gone and with Lorenzo at Iwata, it's not like they had many choices... in short, Perdrosa guarantees experience and Marquez represents the rider to bet on to win the world championship in 2014. The only The unknown will be Marc's ability to withstand the HRC pressure and whether he will be able to be fast straight away.
Obviously the 2013 world championship belongs to Lorenzo...probably 2012 too...but I see a Stoner in clear recovery even if the little Chatter problem is not a recent one.

I'm sorry but Pedrosa isn't a winner for the world championship unless Honda is making a stellar bike like get ready and go because if there's a fight to be had he doesn't have the balls... Rossi better go to SBK so no one watches MotoGP anymore.

NOBODY wants 46 beyond superficial interviews, but who takes a motorbike driver who has won in the past thanks and only to cheating?? then is he really looking for a competitive bike?? Yes ?? to make him end up like Ducati??? Honda and Yamaha keep him away as he is a good driver but... at Barbera level nothing more. indeed barbera the motorbike that the phenomenon has discarded often keeps him behind. This is reality . the problem is if this guy leaves Ducati and let's hope it happens soon, if he stays (you have us) he's just a quack like he's always been, after throwing shit on the bike what does he do? now he wants to stay?? let's hope NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marco, 9 world championships cannot be won with quaquraqua... Rossi, beyond everything, is great, for better or for worse...

Pedrosa doesn't deserve to be reconfirmed, after 7 years in HRC, I think he is the rider who has raced there for the most races/years, he hasn't won anything except 2 races a year, too little for someone who drives an Official Honda.

true and I add, he has won about fifteen races since he joined HRC but Dovizioso himself has won much, much less, if I remember correctly only one race (?) so without Casey HRC was still without a championship.

Pedrosa said that he is going to Ducati to end his career, but he, who should have already ended his career because he is an emeritus failure, why doesn't Ducati look for him?... Do you remind me of some overtakings he has made in MOTOGP because either he starts in front or he recovers few positions in the race, only when someone falls to the ground...
