Mugello GP Yamaha MotoGP – Valentino Rossi was a telephone guest on Radio Deejay in the “Albertino Everyday” program. The Yamaha rider spoke about his recent crash on his motocross bike and related injury and about the next Italian Grand Prix, which he absolutely doesn't want to miss. He also spoke about the crash at Le Mans, he has the say.

“Unfortunately I fell while training on the cross bike. After a jump I landed and the bike “planted” and I hurt my stomach and abdomen. I went to the hospital in Rimini and after the necessary checks I left. I also had tests this morning and they went well. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who "looked after" me at the hospital. As far as Mugello is concerned, we need to see what the bike says. I have to see if I can ride well – said Valentino Rossi – Now I've done a bit of rehabilitation, I'm not 100% yet, but it's still Wednesday. All races are important, but in this one we have to be there, obviously we have to see how I'm doing, we have to be competitive. Now to ride these bikes you have to be fit and Mugello is a very tough track physically. I'll try on Friday, although in reality I have a visit tomorrow morning to see if I'm "fit", but I don't think there are any problems, I feel good. Then we'll have to see how I react on the bike. For Le Mans I was still “pissed off”, but the pissed off from the crash on the motocross bike outweighed that. Like a nail crusher, pissed off pissed off! At Le Mans I made a mistake on the last lap while I was first and then I crashed when I was home with all my money in the bag.
