MotoGP Mugello, Free Practice 4: Pedrosa at the top, Rossi is fourth
The Spaniard from the Repsol Honda Team finishes ahead of Lorenzo and Bradl
The fourth free practice session of the MotoGP class at Mugello took place with 21° in the air and 40° on the asphalt. This session, dedicated to setting up the bikes and not counting towards the ranking, was the prerogative of Dani Pedrosa, who took his Honda ahead of everyone with a time of 1.48:028.
The world championship leader seems to have found an optimal setting on the Tuscan track, after having struggled yesterday in the first day of testing. the #26 of the golden-winged manufacturer preceded his compatriot Jorge Lorenzo by just 95 thousandths, riding the #99 Yamaha.
Valentino Rossi finished in fourth position, behind Stafan Bradl's Team LCR Honda and ahead of his brand mate Cal Crutchlow.
Followed by Andrea Dovizioso's Ducati and the Repsol Team Honda of rookie Marc Marquez, who is now preparing to compete in Q1 in order to enter Q2.
