Hector Barbera was unable to repeat the performance that earned him the eighth fastest time yesterday in qualifying. The Spanish Team Aspar rider lost time with a "wrong" setup and then also crashed, fortunately without physical consequences. The word is up to him.

“To be honest we didn't make much progress today. Yesterday went well but today we fought to improve. We made some changes to the set-up this morning, but it didn't work and so we took a step back which cost us a lot of time. The bike moves during acceleration and I don't have much confidence in the braking areas. In reality, the fall came while braking and I didn't have time to do anything else. I'm not happy because we started so well yesterday and we took a step back. The positive thing is that I am still only 1,5 seconds from pole and therefore I think we can still do well tomorrow. With a good start we can fight for the top ten or even eight.”
