MotoGP – Motegi QP1 – Pedrosa: "I'm not sure which tire to use"

Despite the ninth position on the grid, Dani Pedrosa appears optimistic, even if he admits that he has to look for a few tenths which he loses during the entire lap, however he has made a good leap forward compared to yesterday's fifteenth position and the third row does not seem to worry him too much given that he is optimistic about his physical condition and that in the past he had started from the back and then managed to come back. The only uncertainty for Dani? The tyres, and of course, the weather.

“In the afternoon we improved the times from the morning, and that's good, even if we still have to improve by a few tenths because I lose a bit of time throughout the circuit. And unfortunately when we went out on the qualifying tire we lost in the same places. However, I'm still not 100% sure which tire to use in tomorrow's race, so we will do some tests in the morning warm-up, assuming the weather allows it. We'll see if it will be a dry race and we'll try to get a good start. The third row isn't ideal, but I've already managed to recover from that position, so it's not too bad. My knee is quite good, even if my toe bothers me a bit, but we will be fine for the race"
