MotoGP – Motegi QP1 – Andrea Dovizioso wanted to lap more

Having difficulty this morning in free practice in the rain, Andrea Dovizioso will start tomorrow at Motegi from seventh position on the starting grid, thanks to the time set yesterday. The HRC man from Forlì is disappointed by the cancellation of the qualifying sessions, which took away precious time to test some innovations to his bike brought directly by Honda.

“Due to the rain we were unable to try some new features on our bike, therefore we will start from seventh position without having completed our work programme”, comments Andrea Dovizioso. “Tomorrow in the Warm Up we will try to improve our set-up and try to move up the rankings. This morning in the free practice session I didn't have a great feeling with the bike in the wet, but on the other hand we'll have to see what the weather will be like tomorrow. My goal is to get a good result for Honda, given that this is their home GP.".
